Watching American Sports in London

As I sit on the couch with the future hubby, one of our American friends, and a table full of eaten buffalo wings, fries, onion rings, and doritos (shout out to Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers... and they deliver!), I realised that I should share my knowledge of sports with my fellow expats.

If you are watching from home: We have the Sky package with the sports add on.  ESPN America and Sky Sports 3 are KEY.  And we just discovered the Red Zone you can also get through Sky - push the red button on your remote, switch from the Live Feed of the NFL game on Sky Sports 3, and BAM.  They jump to every game being played so you're up to date on EVERY GAME.  For those who have fantasy football teams, it is proof of a higher being since you can see how every one of your players are doing within a 5 minute span.  I love the fact that they jump from game to game because I'm rather sure that I have a serious case of undiagnosed ADD.

Legend- wait for it - I hope you're not lactose intolerant cause its - Dary.

Wanna go out?  Here's a list of the bars that my friends and I frequent. Check their websites before going to ensure that they show the game you're hoping to watch and not a soccer game (this has happened to me before. FAIL).

Henry J Beans - 195-197 King's Road SW3 5ED. Nearest tube - Sloan Square or South Kensington
Bodeans - various locations including Soho, Tower Hill, and Fulham Broadway. (NOTE: pretty good BBQ as well)
Sports CafĂ© - 80 Haymarket, SW1Y 4TE. Nearest tube - Picadilly Circus.  (DISCLAIMER: Beware of 18 year olds who are in London for study abroad and just figured out that there isn't a drinking age in Europe)
Marylebone Sports Bar and Grill - Marylebone Station, Melcombe Place, NW1 6JJ. In Marylebone Station, also close to Baker Street tube.
